In 2009, We decided that our life in the commercial printing world, was not to our liking. Having spent 25+ years dealing with the fickle nature of the corporate world we found ourselves lacking a creative outlet.

It was our goal to rekindle a lost art and become known for producing amazing work with techniques borrowed from days
gone by.

Doug was taught his craft by Doug's father who kept a watchful eye over his progress as a  journeymen. It was only when he finally let loose of the reins that Doug knew that he had achieved the right to be called a "Craftsmen".

Along with Doug's wife, Felicia the two set out to build what is now the most progressive letterpress shop in the Los Angeles area.They serve customers from all 50 states and many other countries.

With 10 presses in daily operation, plate making in house and layout services, we can offer our customers whatever they can imagine.
